The RNS Hiring Committee is excited to share that we have completed our search for Ravinia Nursery School's next Director. We are thrilled to announce that Susan Lenzini has accepted the position, and will formally begin as our Director in July 2025.
For more than two months, multiple committees of teaching faculty and Board members engaged in an extensive search process for Ravinia's next Director and Operations Coordinator. During this time we had the opportunity to meet with many qualified candidates who were inspired by RNS' mission and vision for early childhood education.
Throughout the process, Susan's passion for student-centered and play-based learning shined through. Her belief that social and emotional development serves as the foundation for lifelong learning is strongly aligned with RNS' educational philosophy, as is her commitment to promoting an environment that supports and honors each child’s unique development and interests. We believe that Susan will foster a culture of kindness and inclusion, further strengthening partnerships between home and school. Finally we know that Susan will continue to be an enthusiastic representative of RNS in the greater community, and an incredible asset to our children, faculty and families in the years to come.
