Dear RNS Parents,

WOW! What a wonderfully beautiful day we had this past Sunday at our Family Fall Fest! It was such a joy to see so many RNS children, parents, grandparents, and caregivers sprinkled across our campus enjoying the fun and games, food, animals, awesome trucks—and of course, the gorgeous weather!

A HUGE thank you goes out to Jeannine Tayeh, Agni Tellez, Hilary Shapiro, Melanie Sacks, Erin French, Jess Odum, Abby Goldberg, and Lindsay Stal for organizing this incredible event that brought our community together in such a meaningful way.

We’re also deeply grateful to the many parents who pitched in by baking, decorating, setting up, running games, selling food, taking photos, and staying to clean up. Behind every volunteer is often a whole support system—partners, family members, and friends—helping make that contribution of time possible.

Thank you to ALL who gave their time, talents, and energy—whether big or small—to help make our Fall Fest Fundraiser such a success. We’re so lucky to be part of such a generous, joyful, and connected community!

Please note that photos will be taken outside- plan to dress your child accordingly for the cooler temps. Jackets will be taken off for the minutes of each child's session.

A description of photo packages can be found HERE. For those interested, Mindy has provided this additional information:

"...I plan on spending a short amount of time with each child so parents have a variety of options to choose from. Parents will be able to go online with a code and select preferences. Parents may wish to begin with the $35 package, and upgrade once they view the gallery..."

OCTOBER DIAPER DRIVE - Our annual diaper drive to support children & families in need in the Lake Cook & McHenry County Areas in underway! All contributions will be donated to Keeping Families Covered, a non-profit organization that is on a mission to ensure that every family has access to the hygiene essentials they need to thrive. Diapers will be collected at RNS from October 6th - October 31st near the main office. Thank you in advance for your donations to our community! 

What items are accepted? Diapers for babies, toddlers, youth, and seniors – diapers can be in opened or unopened packages. Please view this flyer to learn more about everything that is accepted, and most-needed items!

Snack Calendar with RNS Approved Snack List- You may be noticing some changes to our Membership Toolkit platform and pages.  You can now find the RNS Approved Snack List on the same page as the Snack Calendar for your class, linked at the bottom.

Flexible Spending Account- If you have a child attending RNS and have a FSA, you may request to have our bookkeeper send you proof of tuition by emailing Rhiannon at admin@ravinianurseryschool.com
